Scope of Services and Description of Duties :

 

Ao Chalong Tourist Pier is one of the famous pier in the south of Thailand. It has been used for more than ten years. Japanese government by JICA has given the fund to improve this port as well as to construct another port at Ao Por for the promotion of tourism the southern parts of Thailand.

 

Ao Chalong Port is composed of 1,200 sq.m. of parking lot with an office building and a terminal building. There is a 9.4 m. wide, 700 m. long bridge for both vehicle and passenger from the land to the offshore platform of 1,043 sq.m.

 

Ao Por Port is composed of 1,200 sq.m. of parking lot with an office building and a terminal building. There is a 9.4 m. wide, 500 m. long bridge for both vehicle and passenger from the land to the offshore platform of 1,043 sq.m.

 

ATT in association with Team Consulting Company and Pacific Consultants International (PCI), Japan is responsible for the following works:

 

• Onland topographic survey,

• Bathymetric survey,

• Marine survey such as current survey and tidal measurement,

• Geotechnical investigation for both onshore structures and offshore structures,

• Design for the port, prepare the construction cost,

• Prepare the construction specification,

• Prepare the preliminary construction schedule.
