Scope of Services and Description of Duties :
Phenolchemie has planned to supply phenol and acetone to Bayer Plant in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate. The phenol and acetone will be imported and unloaded from ships at Map Ta Phut Tank Terminal (MTT) and stored in a tank farm near the MTT. The tank farm comprises of 2 phenol tanks with 10,000 m³ capacity each and 2 acetone tanks with total capacity 12,000 m³. The phenol and acetone will be delivered through 6″ and 4″ pipelines respectively of approximately 2,500 m. long to Bayer Plant. All phenol storage tanks and pipelines are equipped with electrical heat racing system to maintain the temperature at 55 °C.
ATT has been appointed as owner’s engineer to Phenolchemie. The scope of services includes the followings:
• Front-end engineering for a complete engineering package
• Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment
• Preparation of bid package for EPC contractor
• Evaluation of bids and selection of contractor
