Project Cost :  Approx. 16,000 Miilion Baht

Scope of Services and Description of Duties :

 

The project consists of a hot strip steel mill plant and supporting facilities with a total capacity of 1,500,000 tons per year.

 

ATT provided civil and structural engineers and inspectors to assist the Owner in civil work detail design and construction supervision.

 

The main buildings with a total working area of 125,000 sq. m. consisted of the following.

 

• Hot mill building

• Tunnel furnace building

• Scrap yard building 1&2

• Melt shop & caster building

• Cold mill building

• DRI facility

 

The scope of service of ATT was as follows:

 

• To provide civil and structural engineers and inspectors to assist the Owner in the construction supervision work. Up to 25 staff were provided at one time.

• To assist NSM in preparation of various permit applications.

• To advise NSM’s designer on local regulation and requirement

• To provide some construction details not provided by NSM’s designer

• To review and endorse drawings designed by foreign company to assure compliance with local regulation.
