Scope of Services and Description of Duties :

 

Thai Oil Plc is planning to increase the capacity of existing birthing facilities due to increase in production from recently upgraded refinery. The Consultant was appointed to conduct the feasibility study on the jetty expansion project. The existing jetty consists of 6 births for ships in the range of 500 to 5,000 DWT. The study was conducted for 10,000 and 30,000 DWT ships with various types of trestle. The study emphasized on optimization of construction time, cost, durability, and compliance with international and local standards.

 

The major components of study included:

 

• Platform with loading facilities

• Dolphin with berthing facility

• Jetty trestles

• Pipe rack, pipeline loop and pipe supports

• Cathodic protection
